Entries List (of Competitors)

Critical to the Event Scoring spreadsheet is the list of entrants (individual or teams) which is maintained in the ENTRIES worksheet.

What goes in here depends a great deal on what kind of reports you want.

·           You may enter entries manually, copy/paste from another spreadsheet or import a csv file.

·           Any of the data can be freely edited and overridden. It is not necessary to maintain a particular order to the list. In fact, you can easily sort the entries list using the blue buttons labeled <Sort Ascending By Selected Column> and <Sort Descending by Selected Column>. Simply place the cursor into the column you want to sort, then click the respective button. For instance, if you want to sort by Event in Ascending Order (i.e. A-Z) then place the cursor anywhere in the column titled 'Event' and click the <Sort Ascending By Selected Column> button.

·           The entry #s must be unique and can belong to an individual or a team.

·           During the event, the ENTRIES worksheet becomes the place where all captured scores are amalgamated for each entrant.
